The question a demo cannot answer
Can this run against our actual CRM, our actual accounting system, our actual permission structure, without creating a new gap. A demo has never seen your data. A readiness scan has.
What a scan actually checks
- Data condition. How clean, structured and joinable your systems actually are, not how they look in a sales deck.
- Integration reality. Which systems have usable APIs, which need workarounds, and what that means for timeline.
- Permission structure. Who can already see what, so an AI layer never has to guess or, worse, assume everyone sees everything.
- A real baseline. Current hours, turnaround and error rates, measured before anything changes, so the eventual result is provable.
Why this is the difference between shipping and stalling
Most enterprise AI pilots never reach production, and a large share of that gap traces back to exactly this: nobody checked what the systems and data actually looked like before committing to a build. MIT's 2025 study of the gap puts the share of organisations seeing no measurable return at roughly 95%, and points at organisational readiness rather than model quality as the cause.
